The saddest thing about these shoes is that 90 percent of the people that bought them thought those were iPads in there. If only my legs were just a little bit wider, I’d be able to fit that magical device onto my gam, and surely I’d snag some bespectacled Steve-Jobs devotee.
Instead, I have to wear these god-forsaken 8-bit clunkers and hit on nerds from the past. Alas, the perils of having legs as thin as a scallion.

I don’t see the problem, if these had records on them, the nice nerds from the past would buy you an egg-cream soda (or whatever the heck those things are).
Are you kidding me? Gameboy can still beat iPad when it comes down to fun & games. I’d choose a woman wearing these anyday over a girl pimping Apple/Mac/iThings.
And yes, I am a game-nerd.

My not-so-internal geek gave out a squee upon seeing this. To hell with the boots, I’d get them just for the old school game boy. I had one from Japan before they came out here in the states and I miss it!

Yes. My GBC is yellow. And I still play Pokemon Blue on it.
Man, if only! I wonder if they might come in a DS version? I could play pokemon in class while “adjusting my socks”!

I’d NEVER wear my precious GBC like that. What, noone else thinks of risks when carrying it around?
Why not put iphones on the shoes, if you want something ipadish? Meanwhile, I think that they are very creative, kind of cool, and great icebreakers. “Is that a gameboy on your shoe? Wait…two game boys? Wow! So what’s it like?”
