As we celebrate our national heritage it’s important to remember the things America does best: that’s industry. Industry and robots. Robots and patriotism. Patirotism and capitalism. Captialism and robots.

Did I say robots twice? I did, and I meant to, because they are important. Robots are the new forefathers. Tell your friends.

  2. Nack says:

OH MY GOD, OPTIMUS PRIME SHOES! *runs out to get some*

(For those of you without an 80′s childhood, or a current head in sci-fi entertainment, that’s the Leader of the Transformers.)

Actually, if you don’t know what that is you’re not alive. And if you are you don’t deserve to be.

Not to harsh anyones buzz about this, but just a couple of things to point out. Number one: Japanese! Number two $100 plus on Ebay and Number three: there is nowhere to put your foot because its a tiny little toy:

    Also, Recursive robot, is recursive

Also, the Megatron shoe looked better.

Transformers Sports Label! For those of you wondering, yes, they really did make these, yes you could actually buy them, and yes they did make a Megatron, too. They were only available in Japan however, as the only entries in the “Transformers Sports Label” series, and they are no longer being made and sold by TakaraTomy (the company that markets Transformers in Japan). If you really want one, you might take a look on ebay, but don’t expect to pay less than $100 American for one.

  8. roxik says:

I bought one from Japan. It is made by Takara and is too small to be a real shoe.

  9. Convoy says:

Thats the 2007 sports label convoy (optimus prime) that was sold in Japan this baffling incarnation of Prime is colored primarily white and red in his alt mode of a realistic-looking (if notably undersized) Nike Free 7.0 sneaker, complete with gratuitously long real fabric shoelaces. In robot mode, he is made instantly recognizable by his incorporation of some additional blue and silver in predictable areas, and a traditionally Prime-styled head. Less traditionally, and somewhat perversely, Prime’s feet are sculpted in the likeness of his own sneaker mode, making it seem like he’s wearing himself! There was also a blue marine one for ultra magnus and a black megatron one,

    Transformers! Reeboks in disguise!

  11. Flo says:

I’ve wanted these for soooooooooooooo long.

  12. SFR says:

    Two things:

    1) Japanese shoe designers have too much time on their hands.
    2) And they are putting it to good use; keep it up guys!

  13. Ashley says:

This is not a robot shoe! It just has those colors.

  14. Jess says:

    Trukk not shoo.

  15. mia_the_feline says:

Toy or not, my ex-boyfriend would probably love one or two of these.

  16. robogal9000 says:

that a shoe disguised as optimus prime obviously XD it even comes as megatron

and btw those are toys you cannot wear them…if you do then i fear the future of this world….

  17. Jessica says:

MWAHAHAHA I found these in a toy shop in Mayo yesterday. FOR THREE EUROS. Random Irish toy shops FTW.
